The LifeSpot Workshop conducted in Torre Marimón last month summarised all results performed by project partners on the use of green solutions (microalgae and wood pellet/cork-based biofilters) for removing nitrates, pesticides, and antibiotics from polluted groundwaters. The agenda included also the participation of other invited life projects (SOURCE (https://life-source.se/en/start/), NIRVANA (https://www.life-nirvana.eu/), and AMIA (https://lifeamia.eu/web/esp/)) as well a round table on the topic of water pollution and solution for its treatment.
